Time for top ten Impact sets

10. "1998 Go West" The first attempt at a western was really good. Lee's last year to do the set.
9. "1996 Major League" Nice baseball set, the first year the set looked professional with bleachers on stage.
8. "2002 Sheild About Me" Who could forget that massive castle, a lot of hours went into that one.
7. "2006 The Story" Nice "pop-up" story book feel.
6. " 2001" Ten In Search of the Covenant" Complte with waterfall it felt like a jungle.
5. "2003 Deep" It actualy felt like you were underwater when you entered the auditorium
4. 2009 "The hiddeN": Another great Skidmore set, it was bright flashy and just perfect.
3. "2004 Escape" Nice prison camp motiff"
2. "2008 Day of Reckoning" Skid outdid himself this year. The arena looked like an actual Ghost Town.
1. "2004 This Mystery" The whole auditorium looked like a library very cool.

What about "The Journey" in 2000, with that AWESOME yellow brick road??? That was the year I was a roadie and we had to put up like 10,000 yellow paper bricks. I think it deserves spot #11 at least!! :)

Hard to believe it's been 30 years since that first "Super Christian" skit changed the way we did Impact. I mean that single skit in 95 changed everything. It took Impact to a different level and changed many church camps all over the southeast. After Impact 1995 many church camps understood they could do more than camper vs. staff ball games.  Major youth events all over started doing dramas because of that one little skit in 95. An update on my favorite years of Impact....2023

So I am not sure why "bloger" insists to put the date of my initial post here but rest assured I do not have time travel ability. This was updated after Impact 2023 Every year on the last day of Impact I am asked one question more often than any other. "How would you compare this year to last year?" Those of you who attend a yearly camp understand this question. People don't necessarily want to know how you would literally rank that specific year, but they are really asking "how do you think this year went?"  However, as a guy who loves Impact and loves ranking things, I inevitably respond, "I don't know, it will take a little while for it to sink in". And by that response I mean, I will wait and sit here at my computer and actually give it serious thought. As I said I love listing things, and I don't ever take my listings lightly.
